1987 Eldorado
The 20th anniversary version of the Eldorado featured changes in its suspension and engine damping. The use of deflected disc strut valves on cars with the touring suspension provided a more comfortable ride and better road manners. New hydro-elastic engine mounts were also used. New vehicle-sensitive rear seat belts were used on all Eldorados. A new cashmere cloth and leather interior trim was offered. Twelve new exterior colors, for a total of 19, were introduced. Larger P205/75R14 standard tires was also used. For the first time, Cadillac offered the cabriolet top as an option for the base Eldorado. The Biarritz had a redesigned cabriolet top.
