1995 CADILLAC

It was the 80th Anniversary of the Cadillac V-8 engine. The 1995 Cadillac lineup mirrored the previous year's offerings. New on all Cadillacs was the P0260 Planetary Gear Starter that featured improved corrosion protection with added lubricants and improved sealing around the driveshaft. The front wheel drive Cadillacs received structural refinements to improve body stiffness and limit vibration. Those revisions included new steering column struts that tied in to the crosscar beam behind the instrument panel, longitudinal braces in the trunk compartment and a more rigid urethane seal where all stationary glass surfaces mount to the body. All front-drivers also benefitted from a newly designed, quieter exhaust system that included a larger muffler and longer tailpipe.

At Cadillac, creating a higher standard never ends. Levels of quality are constantly set, then exceeded. Goals for performance are not only achieved, but also routinely surpassed. This is why Cadillacs are so very special. Each one represents a step ahead of previous models by all measures of quality, luxury, and performance. From the acclaimed STS to the classic Fleetwood Brougham, styling has been refined, engineering advanced, amenities expanded, and elegance celebrated as only Cadillac can. And while more is often indeed better, simplicity can also be the hallmark of beauty, and precision the foundation of performance. This why the 1995 models are such solid evidence that an ever-advancing standard is the only one to which Cadillacs are designed and built.
